Maternity
Those pregnant days feel hard, however 9 months go by in flash. You never quite realise until baby has arrived that through the swollen, hands, feet or heartburn that you truly miss that feeling of growing your baby.
Newborn
Let your photos transport you back to those heady first days of sweet milky smells and skin-on-skin. They grow so quick! So let’s capture those fleeting moments of adorableness.
Milestones
First tooth, first steps, first birthday, first sibling - blink, and you’ll miss it! Let’s immortalise it on camera so you can show the photos off to their friends on their 16th birthday.

We would highly recommend Charlie! We had a maternity shoot and newborn shoot with Charlie and feel she went above and beyond during both sessions. All the information you receive before shoots is fantastic and Charlie is there for you to ask any questions or queries you have. We arrived for both our shoots feeling excited and comfortable. She has a fantastic range of outfits that the expecting mum can wear and she made me feel confident during my first ever photo shoot. During our newborn shoot she was so professional yet gentle and loving with our baby. She was patient when baby needed feeding and as new parents she made everything feel so relaxed and stress free. The photographs received from both shoots speak for themselves. We had an amazing choice of photos to choose from and they were absolutely beautiful. “Would 1000% recommend Charlie! I was a bit nervous as we all are in front of a camera but Charlie was amazing. She was helpful and answered all questions before the day. We had newborn shoot with Charlie when our little girl was 5 weeks old. All the information you receive before shoots is amazing and Charlie is there for you to ask any questions or queries you have. We arrived at the photoshoot feeling really excited. During the newborn shoot she was so professional yet gentle and loving with our baby. We were also able to bring along our dog Monty who has been such a massive part of our family so it was so lovely that he was able to come along and capture some lovely photos with him too. Our newborn photoshoot with Charlie was so relaxed and she made us all feel really comfortable and welcome in her studio. She was so gentle and caring with our baby, so we didn’t hear a peep out of her during outfit and position changes.
We had our toddler with us who can be quite a handful when he’s not the centre of attention but Charlie had things on hand to keep him entertained and managed to get beautiful, natural smiles from him in the photos he was involved in.
We had a lovely mix of newborn and family photos which we could not be happier with. Thank you again Charlie x

“Charlie was absolutely amazing. We had the perfect spot in the woods and Charlie used every opportunity to take some fantastic photos.
We have three children, 12, 4 and 2. She did amazing getting photos that were natural and that showed us as a family. We did the shoot in an hour and none of the children were over tired after the shoot. Her prices were very reasonable as well.

The first maternity photoshoot we did gave me enough confidence for me to come back and book her for my newborn shoot.

“Met Charlie on location, she was really friendly and made me feel at ease straight away. My 3 year old can be quite shy but she was great with her. The shoot was a lot cheaper than what many other photographers charge and then you just pay per picture. I got the digital photos back quickly and they were just what I wanted. I also received them in black and white too at no extra cost which are lovely. Definitely recommend 🙂”

Gift Vouchers are available on all photo shoot packages. It’s completely flexible - you can purchase any type of shoot and the recipient can also adjust this if they’d rather, so they’re not tied in.
They can also choose if they would prefer a studio or outdoor location, or even a mixture of the two which is absolutely fine! The studio is located in the beautiful countryside in the Forest Of Dean so it’s easy to create some natural shots in an outdoor setting before or after their studio session.

Client photographs are ONLY used on the website or social media once written consent is received. Once purchases are made, your images are deleted approximately one month after the shoot takes place. We would therefore strongly advise you download your photographs as soon as they have been activated in the download link.

Although the packages do not currently include any prints, albums or frames, if you would like these to be included, just let me know & we can find the perfect options for you.

Simple outfits work best, especially in terms of family shots and not too many patterns! If in doubt, have some options ready and we can see what works well in each shot on the day.
I also have a great Mummy wardrobe that you can borrow any pieces from, just ask me for details when booking!

I must admit, I haven't had to completely abandon a shoot because a child really doesn't want to be photographed....but there's always a first time for everything!
As a parent myself, I totally understand that children’s moods can vary wildly. This is why we give so long to the children shoots, as they have got to be comfortable and not feel rushed or have too much pressure put on them. We make it SO much fun that children usually forget there’s a camera there at all (think the polar opposite of school photos!).
We work around the children, the best thing we have on our side is that I'll be a new face with exciting things to look at. We'll play the shoot by ear making sure that they have an absolute ball, with lots of toys and distractions. You'll find that we can definitely capture their unique personality!
And lots of my clients say afterwards that they’ve really enjoy themselves & the whole experience was as lovely as the final results. It’s so nice to enjoy an hour of time to play with the kids & have a cuddle - to be in the moment, without a phone in sight.
